I love watching the show, playing roles like mom and chauffeur and friend and confidant … Cole’s good friend Quinn, from Las Vegas, has been visiting during his spring-break from public school. They display tremendous respect for each other while being goofy and inquisitive and creative together. Check out this film they made as a case in point

Quinn has been full of questions about the life of the ‘unschooler’. Its been fun to share with him. Here's a yummy, useful quote in describing the unschooler,that I loved: “Unschooler: one who learns from life and love and great books and late morning conversations and big projects and eccentric uncles and mountains and mistakes and volunteering and starry nights - not from dull textbooks and sedative lectures and interfering homework."

It has been fun to observe this young man ‘observing us. life is so much fun, yes?
